Job summary

Bristol Hospice is seeking an experienced Certified Nursing Assistant to join our hospice care team in Levittown, PA. The CNA will support the Interdisciplinary Group, work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, and help meet patients’ personal needs and comfort goals.

Responsibilities include personal care, vital signs, medication reminders where allowed, and observation of patient condition. The role emphasizes compassion, respect, and adherence to plan of care in a home or community

Qualifications

• Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant in PA.
• Preferred 1 year hospice/community health or medical/surgical experience.
• Completed minimum 75 hours of classroom and supervised practical training.
• Licensed driver with insured vehicle in good working order.
• Willingness to undergo background check and maintain CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care, assist with daily activities and comfort needs per plan.
• Communicate with patients and families with confidentiality and respect.
• Follow safety procedures and use equipment properly.
• Assist with meals, feeding, and hydration as assigned.
• Record vitals and report changes to Case Manager.
• Support ambulation, ROM, and transfers per instruction.
• Assist with medications as allowed and remind administration.
• Maintain clean, safe living area and document care per standards.
• Participate in quality improvement activities and teamwork.
