Job summary

JourneyCare Hospice is seeking Hospice CNAs for our growing team in Morton Grove, IL. Immediate opening with competitive salaries, generous time off, 401(k) + match, and more. Hours are Monday–Friday 8:30AM–5PM with no weekends or holidays.

We offer comprehensive benefits, mileage reimbursement, tuition reimbursement, and bonus increases based on tenure. Responsibilities include personal care, feeding, meal planning, and reporting changes to the Case Manager.

Qualifications

• Certified by the state as a nurse aide.
• Listed on the state aide registry with a clear record.
• Age 18+ unless state law dictates otherwise.
• Valid driver's license with insured automobile.

Responsibilities

• Giving personal care including baths, back rubs, oral hygiene, shampoos and changing bed linens.
• Assisting in dressing and undressing patients.
• Planning and preparing nutritious meals, including shopping.
• Assisting in feeding the patient.
• Providing proper care and observation of patient's skin to prevent tissue breakdown.
• Reporting on patient's condition and significant changes to the Case Manager.

What You'll Do:
