Job summary

JourneyCare Hospice in Arlington Heights, IL is seeking dedicated CNAs to join our growing team. Shift options Monday through Friday, 8:30AM-5PM, with no weekends or holidays. We offer competitive salaries, generous PTO, 401(k) with match, and comprehensive benefits starting on the first of the month.

Responsibilities include personal care, assisting with dressing, meals, feeding, skin care, and reporting patient status to the Case Manager. Pay range shown: $19-$26/hour, based on experience.

Qualifications

• Certified by the state as a nurse aide.
• Listed on the state aide registry with a clear record.
• 18 years of age or older as required by state law.
• Valid driver's license with insured vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Giving personal care including baths, back rubs, oral hygiene, shampoos and changing bed linens
• Assisting in dressing and undressing patients
• Planning and preparing nutritious meals, including shopping
• Assisting in feeding the patient
• Providing proper care and observation of patient's skin to prevent breakdown of tissue
• Reporting on patient's condition and significant changes to the Case Manager.
