Job summary

Interim HealthCare Hospice in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team and provide high-quality care to patients in a hospice setting. You will collaborate with the care team to support daily activities, promote safety, and maintain patient comfort.

Qualifications

• CNA certification in Michigan is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe environment and maintain unobstructed pathways while providing care
• Assist patients in activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, nail, and skin care, oral hygiene, toileting, etc.
• Assist with ambulation, transfers, and/or range of motion exercises
• Follow the assignment sheet/service plan performing only tasks that are assigned
• Recognize, report, and record/document changes in patient condition and safety to the supervisor

Certified Nursing Assistant Responsibilities
