Job summary
Ascend Hospice in Worcester, MA seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to join our leadership team as Regional Director of Clinical Services. This role oversees hospice clinical services, provides leadership to regional teams, and ensures compassionate patient care in alignment with regulatory standards.
The position requires a MA RN license, at least five years of nursing experience with two in management, and the ability to travel within the region.
Qualifications
- Five years of nursing experience with at least two years in supervision or management.
- Current RN license to practice in Massachusetts, with licensure in other states as applicable.
- Ability to travel within the assigned region and a valid driver’s license.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the planning, implementation, coordination, and supervision of hospice clinical services.
- Provide leadership to regional managers and clinical teams to ensure compassionate patient care.
- Coordinate staffing, on-call coverage, and staff assignments; support performance improvement initiatives.
- Review caseloads, assess patient needs, and participate in interdisciplinary team meetings.
- Ensure accurate clinical documentation and regulatory compliance; support staff development and coaching.
- Collaborate with administrator to resolve care delivery challenges and support survey readiness.
