Job summary

Ascend Hospice is seeking an Assistant Clinical Director (Registered Nurse) to lead regional IDT teams and oversee hospice service delivery across our regions. This role emphasizes clinical supervision, policy alignment, and staff development while ensuring regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Nursing, a State RN license, 5 years of nursing experience (hospice preferred), and is willing to travel. CHPN is a plus; on-site weekdays with standard hours.

Qualifications

• Must have a State Certified RN license.
• 5 years experience as a professional nurse, hospice experience strongly preferred.
• CHPN certification, a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage regional staff and IDT to ensure care delivery.
• Review and revise patient/family care plans.
• Supervise medical records accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Monitor IDT care plans and audits; provide leadership for team meetings.
• Travel as required; develop community education and regional growth.
