Job summary

Ascend Hospice in Springfield, MA seeks an Assistant Clinical Director to lead nursing staff, ensure clinical quality, and support administrative tasks. The role requires an RN license, 3+ years in nursing (hospice/homecare preferred), and leadership capabilities.

Qualifications

• Must have a State Certified RN license.
• 3+ years of nursing experience, hospice or homecare preferred.
• CHPN certification is a plus.
• Strong leadership, supervision, and communication skills.
• Ability to coordinate and manage services per policy.

Responsibilities

• Staff development and supervision of nursing personnel.
• Provide supervisor back-up for nursing departments when leadership is unavailable.
• Manage key services in accordance with policies and standards.
• Collaborate with Director of Nursing and Executive Director to ensure care meets standards.
• Support intake department and assist with monthly clinical invoices and managerial duties.
