Job summary

Brighton Hospice is seeking an Assistant Director of Clinical Services to provide overall direction to the hospice clinical team. The role includes hiring qualified hospice personnel, delivering hospice services directly, and coordinating evaluations to meet federal and state standards.

The position emphasizes implementing policies, monitoring nursing performance, and supporting clinical policy development, with a focus on continuous quality improvement and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Strong, results-driven leader with excellent organizational, strategic, analytical, and project management skills.
• Exceptional communicator with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to motivate, mentor, and influence others.
• 5+ years of healthcare experience preferred, with hospice experience required.
• 2+ years of leadership experience in a healthcare setting.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing in the state(s) of practice.

Responsibilities

• Implement policies, procedures, and best practices for operations.
• Monitoring nursing staff performance and addressing any QA issues
• Clinical policy and procedure support
• Assisting the Director in identifying & resolving nursing department deficiencies
• Monitoring implementation of correction plans
