Job summary

Brighton/Suncrest Hospice in San Diego, CA is seeking an Assistant Director of Clinical Services to guide the clinical team under the Director and ensure high-quality hospice care. You will hire qualified staff, oversee patient care standards, implement policies, monitor performance, and address QA issues, while maintaining compliance with federal and state regulations.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in good standing in the state(s) of practice.
• At least 1 year in hospice experience.
• 5 years in healthcare industry preferred.
• 2 years of leadership experience.
• Strong leadership, organizational, strategic, analytical and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct the hospice clinical team under the Director.
• Hire qualified hospice personnel and coordinate evaluations.
• Establish standards of care to comply with regulations.
• Implement policies, procedures, and best practices for operations.
• Monitor nursing performance and address QA issues.
• Support clinical policy and address department deficiencies.
