Goodwin Living seeks a Director of Clinical Services to oversee hospice teams in the Northern Virginia area within the beltway. Lead clinical staff, ensure patient-centered care, and drive quality programs with regulatory compliance. You will partner with the Administrator and QAPI to enhance outcomes for patients and families.

The role requires Virginia RN licensure with leadership experience in hospice, and a passion for evidence-based, compassionate care aligned to policy.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse licensed in Virginia with at least 2 years supervisory hospice experience.
• Certified Hospice and Palliative Care preferred.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Ability to address needs of terminally ill residents and families in varied settings.
• Proficient in nursing practice and capable of handling emotional stress.
• Familiar with EMR software and training capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership and ensures Hospice philosophy aligns with corporate policy.
• Monitors and solicits feedback from patients and staff to maintain high-quality care.
• Collaborates with Administrator and QAPI leadership to improve quality and compliance.
• Coordinates and oversees all direct and indirect patient services by clinical staff.
• Provides guidance to Clinical Supervisors to continually improve care services.
• Delivers care and education in accordance with professional standards and regulations.
