Affinity Hospice Management LLC seeks a Clinical Director to lead hospice clinical services, supervise the Interdisciplinary Group, and ensure quality care aligned with CHAP standards. This role directs nursing services, plans budgets, and drives continuous improvement across clinical operations in Virginia.

The position requires RN licensure in good standing in Virginia, nursing leadership experience in hospice, and strong guidance, communication, and community relations skills.

Competenze

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• RN license in good standing in Virginia.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing with management exp in hospice or 4 years’ hospice exp with supervisory role.
• Offer contingent on references and background checks.
• Ability to supervise clinical and administrative personnel.
• Ability to market and engage with community.
• Must be a licensed driver with insured vehicle.
• Strong observation, verbal and written communication.
• Certified Hospice and Palliative Nurse preferred.
• Knowledge of regulations and CHAP standards is preferred.

• Designates an alternate in writing to fulfill CD duties.
• Supervises direct and indirect patient services by clinical staff.
• Guides coordinators and Clinical Managers to improve hospice care.
• Assists Clinical Managers in team planning and management.
• Aids in assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care.
• Assists in budget preparation and administration.
• Interprets indicators to detect census and staffing needs.
• Evaluates performance of Clinical Managers.
• Helps develop clinician evaluation techniques.
• Hires, evaluates, and terminates personnel.
• Conducts annual clinician evaluations as indicated.
• Oversees maintenance of patient records and reports.
• Ensures compliance with laws for clinical records.
• Maintains inventory for patient services.
• Develops orientation programs for new staff.
• Plans quarterly inservice and continuing education.
• Assists performance improvement evaluations and quality delivery.
• Supports organization goals and policies.
• Ensures compliance with licensure and CHAP standards.
• Reports violations to VA authorities as required.
• Reports suspected abuse or neglect immediately.
• Stays informed about nursing and hospice care changes.
• Promotes hospice referrals in the health care community.
• Acts as acting Executive Director in absence of ED/Administrator.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
