UnitedHealth Group is seeking a Clinical Director to assist the Executive Director with clinical oversight of hospice services. This role includes regulatory compliance, staff supervision, and ensuring high quality patient care across the agency.

The position emphasizes leadership in health care delivery, collaboration with physicians, and maintaining accreditation standards while managing cost-effective operations.

Formación

• Current and unrestricted RN licensure in the state of practice.
• Current Driver's License and vehicle insurance.
• CPR certification preferred or to be completed within 90 days of hire.
• 3+ years of hospice/home health leadership experience.
• 2+ years of healthcare leadership experience.

Responsabilidades

• Oversees day-to-day clinical operations of the agency including training and orientation, regulatory compliance, interdisciplinary group effectiveness, growth, and education regarding hospice services.
• Ensures patient care services are provided according to the plan of care and physician orders, with oversight of licensure scope and regulatory guidelines.
• Directs staff evaluations, recruitment, and retention; oversees infection control practices and quality assurance activities.
• Oversees and investigates patient complaints, sentinel events, and ensures compliant billing practices for patient care.
• Acts as liaison between staff, patients, families, management, and Governing Body; participates in Governing Body meetings.
