Job summary

Casa de la Luz East Valley, part of LHC Group within UnitedHealth Group, seeks a Clinical Director to support executive leadership in clinical oversight of hospice services. You will supervise patient care, ensure regulatory compliance, mentor staff, and promote clinical excellence in collaboration with physicians and the community.

The role emphasizes staff development, quality assurance, and effective cost management while maintaining high standards of patient care and family support.

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted RN licensure in the state of practice.
• Current CPR certification.
• Current Driver's License and vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle, or public transportation.
• 3+ years of experience in a hospice, home health, or other health care service delivery system setting (preferred).
• 2+ years of healthcare leadership (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with hospice regulations, laws, policies and procedures.
• Oversee day-to-day clinical operations including training, regulatory compliance and education.
• Promote hospice education to referral sources and the community.
• Work with hospice physicians to drive clinical excellence for patients facing end-of-life.
• Provide oversight of patient care services per the plan of care and physician orders.
• Assist with infection control practices and incident investigations.
• Recruit and retain qualified staff and oversee staff evaluations.
