Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of healthcare management experience, preferably hospice.
• At least 1 year of hospice agency experience, including admissions.
• Experience with HOPE charting requirements for hospice.

Responsibilities

• Ensure agency compliance with state/federal hospice laws and regulations.
• Review referrals for appropriateness and manage approvals & assignments.
• Review patient charts for diagnoses, procedures, medications, and clinical course.
• Assist with planning and evaluating in-services and CEU programs.
• Assist with interviewing, hiring, training, and mentoring staff.
• Participate in QAPI, OASIS review, and coding workflow.
• Provide symptom management and comfort care for hospice patients at home.
• Be willing to take calls as needed.
