Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is seeking an RN Clinical Manager for Hospice to lead therapy services, ensure high-quality patient care, and maintain fiscal responsibility. The role focuses on supervision, scheduling, and documentation, with patient referrals and admissions coordination.

The position requires an RN with 1+ year in home health or hospice and RN management experience, plus active licensure and CPR certification. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is available for external candidates.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in nursing.
• 1+ year of clinical RN experience in home health or hospice.
• 1+ year of RN management experience.
• Current RN license, specific to the state(s) you are assigned to work.
• Current CPR certification

Responsibilities

• Supports and cooperates with the director of staffing.
• Oversees quality of patient care and clinical performance of nurses and aides.
• Organizes clinical operations for the care center.
• Coordinates patient referrals and admissions with intake.
• Oversees scheduling and payor verification requirements.
• Ensures timely documentation by staff.
• Assists in planning of patient goals and Plan of Care.
• Evaluates patient needs and revises plans of care as needed.
• May provide direct patient care in emergencies.
• Participates in on-call process.
• Trains staff to ensure quality care and fiscal responsibility.
• Investigates concerns from patients/families/physicians.
