Job summary

Holy Cross Home Care and Hospice (Maryland) is seeking a Hospice Certified Nursing Assistant to deliver paraprofessional home care under the supervision of a nurse and physician, in compliance with state regulations.

This full-time role offers a Monday–Friday 8am–5pm schedule, the Epic EHR system for documentation, and a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, retirement, and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Maryland CNA certification required.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Hospice/home health experience preferred.

Responsibilities

As a Hospice CNA you will provide paraprofessional services to the organization’s home care clients as developed by the primary nurse and as prescribed by the physician and in compliance with the state’s Nurse Practice Act, and any other regulations defining home health aide / hospice aide services.

Minimum Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the State of Maryland
• High school diploma or GED.
• Previous experience in hospice, palliative care, or home health (preferred).
• Compassionate, patient-focused, and able to provide emotional support to patients and families.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
