Job summary

Holy Cross Home Care and Hospice in Maryland seeks a compassionate Hospice CNA to join our patient‑centered home care team. You will deliver paraprofessional services as directed by the primary nurse, following regulations and the Nurse Practice Act.

Qualifications

• Maryland CNA certification required.

• Hospice, palliative care or home health experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide paraprofessional services to home care clients as directed by the primary nurse.
• Deliver care in compliance with the Nurse Practice Act and hospice regulations.
• Support patients and families with compassionate, patient-centered care.

Minimum Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the State of Maryland
• High school diploma or GED.
• Previous experience in hospice, palliative care, or home health (preferred).
• Compassionate, patient-focused, and able to provide emotional support to patients and families.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
