Gentiva Hospice is seeking a Hospice Care Consultant to develop and maintain referral partnerships with hospitals, home health agencies, SNFs, and clinics in the Cincinnati area. You will educate clinicians on hospice options, drive growth, and promote our services with compassion and strategic outreach.

You will engage professionals, present compelling information, and collaborate with clinical and operations teams to ensure patient-centered referrals and timely admissions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2 years in healthcare sales, business development, or referral marketing.
• Strong existing relationships with physicians, hospitals, SNFs or home health pros.
• Prior hospice, palliative care, or home health experience a plus.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and time-management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM platforms.
• Sensitivity to needs of terminally ill patients and families.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding admissions and census targets.

Responsabilités

• Educate, inform, and inspire confidence in our services to drive referrals.
• Identify new referral opportunities by calling on hospitals and care facilities.
• Engage in meaningful conversations with healthcare professionals about patient needs.
• Plan and execute strategic marketing initiatives to increase awareness.
• Represent Gentiva at community events, associations, and in-services.
• Serve as a resource and advocate for patients and families regarding hospice options.
