Job summary

Enhabit Home Health & Hospice in Augusta, GA is seeking a dedicated Hospice Nursing Aide to assist with personal care and hygiene for hospice patients. You will also guide and support family members in caring for their loved ones at home, under supervision.

Must have at least one year of direct client care, be registered on the nurse aide registry, and demonstrate basic technology skills including mobile device use. This role involves travel to patient homes and coordination with RNs.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of full-time experience in direct client care in an institutional setting or in home health/hospice within the last five years.
• Must be registered and listed in good standing on the nurse aide registry in the state of employment.
• Must have basic demonstrated technology skills, including operation of a mobile device.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care tasks including bathing, dressing, and maintaining hygienic routines.
• Support hospice patients and educate family members on basic care practices.
• Coordinate with supervising RNs to communicate patient progression and family needs.
