Job summary

Enhabit Home Health & Hospice is seeking a dedicated Hospice Nursing Aide to support patients at home and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in Augusta, GA. You will assist with daily personal care, hygiene, and comfort measures for hospice patients, while communicating closely with supervising RNs and family caregivers.

Required are a valid driver license, CPR certification, and CNA registry in the state of employment.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of direct client care in an institutional setting (hospital or nursing facility).
• Or one year of direct client care in home health or hospice within the last five years.
• Must be registered and listed in good standing on the nurse aide registry in the state of employment.
• Must have basic demonstrated technology skills, including operation of a mobile device.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care tasks for hospice patients, including bathing, dressing and wound care.
• Consult with supervising RNs and keep the hospice team informed of patient progress and family needs.
• Support families by teaching basic health-care routines and ensuring comfort and safety.
