Job summary

Aurora Health Care is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to support hospice patients in Oshkosh, WI. You will assist with daily living activities, vital signs, and room preparation while maintaining patient comfort and dignity.

You will work under supervision with the hospice team, ensuring timely responses to calls and accurate documentation. CPR certification is required, and a CAN program may be preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of CAN program preferred.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Sets up patient’s room and orients patient and family to room layout and facilities.
• Obtains vital signs including height and weight.
• Provides personal care (bathing, oral care, shaving, skin care) and assists with activities and transfers.
• Responds to call lights and patient requests; assists with catheters or tubes as needed.
• Documents patient care and communicates needs to the health care team.
• Maintains safety and infection control practices and supports patient and family education.
