Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to support hospice patients in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. Under the supervision of the GIP Hospice Nurse or Clinical Supervisor, the role focuses on direct patient care and bedside assistance.

Responsibilities include personal care, vital signs, room setup, documentation, and responding to calls. The position requires CPR certification and a high school diploma; CNA program preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant.
• CPR certification required.
• Knowledge of basic computer keyboard functions preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participates in Admission/Discharge/Transfer under supervision.
• Sets up patient rooms and orients patients/families to room.
• Obtains vital signs and records data.
• Provides personal care (bathing, grooming, skin care).
• Assists with activities, positioning, ROM, and transfers.
• Assists with meals and nutritional needs.
• Supports documentation and communication of patient needs and outcomes.
