Job summary

VITAS Healthcare in Florida seeks a field-based account professional to build relationships with health-system contacts and patients and families, educating them about hospice services and ensuring timely access to care.

You will develop expertise on Medicare Hospice Benefit and VITAS offerings, coordinating with the team and post-acute partners to support admissions and care transitions through strong communication and CRM usage.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of direct customer service or healthcare experience.
• Excellent presentation, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to collaborate with a team and manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

• Educate medical professionals, patients, and families about hospice services and VITAS offerings.
• Coordinate care transitions and admission processes with health systems and the VITAS team.
• Maintain CRM records and ensure timely communication across teams.
• Support access to hospice care by building long-term business partnerships.
• Be flexible to work outside standard hours (evenings/weekends) as needed.
