Job summary

Providence at Home with Compassus is seeking a Business Office Coordinator to oversee the program’s business office, including billing, payroll, and quality improvement. This role supports Compassus values and fosters positive relationships across departments and with external stakeholders.

You will coordinate with HR and finance, maintain financial records, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements while facilitating onboarding and staff training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience with insurance and Medicare/Medicaid billing and reimbursement is preferred.
• Office management experience is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates communications between departments to ensure appropriate subject matter experts participate in problem-solving.
• Provides back-office training support.
• Aligns clinical team with appropriate training and onboarding tools.
• Troubleshoots user issues with applications.
• Maintains updated financial records including accounts payable and deposits.
• Coordinates donations and memorials per policy.
• Pre-billing batches are pulled and audited weekly.
• Submits invoices to Docuphase and ensures timely payment to maximize discounts.
• Manages payroll processing and HRIS data in Workday.
• Acts as HR liaison for onboarding and payroll coordination.
• Maintains program equipment inventory and records.
• Ensures compliance with Records Retention policy.
