Job summary

Providence at Home with Compassus seeks a Home Health Business Office Coordinator to model our core values and manage the business office for the program, including billing, payroll, and administrative quality improvement.

The role emphasizes cross-department communications, onboarding new staff, maintaining records, and ensuring timely invoicing to support financial goals while promoting our mission of compassionate, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Experience in insurance and Medicare/Medicaid is preferred.
• Experience in office management is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates communications between departments and team members.
• Trains new users on EMR and ensures timely entries and reporting.
• Maintains updated financial records including accounts payable and deposits.
• Pulls billing batches at least once a month.
• Ensures invoices are approved by ED and sent promptly to maximize discounts and avoid late charges.
• Maintains billing records for pharmacy and medical supplies as directed.
• Orders office supplies and equipment as directed.
• Oversees onboarding processes for new team members (Payroll, HRIS, benefits).
• Creates confidential personnel files and audit records.
• Tracks licenses and insurance through personnel file audits.
• Processes payroll according to company procedures.
• Serves as liaison between team, HR, Payroll, and recruiters.
