Job summary

Interim HealthCare is seeking a compassionate Hospice Aide (CNA) PRN to deliver patient-centered end-of-life care in patients' homes across South Carolina. You will provide comfort, dignity, and clinical support to patients and families.

The role requires a SC CNA, valid driver's license, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs. We offer competitive pay ($18.00–$20.00/hr DOE), flexible scheduling, 401(k) with employer match, CEUs, tuition assistance, and wellness benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Active SC CNA certification required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Hospice experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Care for seniors in their homes.
• Assist with daily activities such as bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, hygiene, and nutrition.
• Assist with ambulation, transfers and ROM exercises.
• Check vitals, monitor glucose, document changes.
• Collaborate with home health nurses and aides to follow the care plan.
• Notify supervisor of issues requiring changes.

WhatYou’llDo

As a Hospice Aide (CNA) - PRN, you will:

• Care for seniors and those with an illness, injury or chronic disease in their homes
• Help with daily activities such as bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, hygiene, nail/skin care, eating and nutritional intake
• Assist with ambulation, transfers and range of motion exercises
• Check vitals, measure intake/output, monitor blood glucose and document any changes
• Work with a team of home health nurses and aides to ensure a patient’s care plan is followed
• Observe patient and notify supervisor of issues requiring a change in care, medication or medical equipment

WhatYou’llNeed

• High school diploma (or equivalent) and active Nursing Assistant Certification (CNA) in South Carolina
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation
• Compassionate nature, good communicator and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Hospice experience preferred
