Job summary

Interim HealthCare in Central, SC is hiring Caregivers / CNA to provide compassionate in-home support on a PRN basis, with opportunities to increase hours as our client needs grow.

We offer flexible scheduling, same-day pay options, and a 1:1 caregiver-to-client ratio to build meaningful connections while supporting independence and safety at home.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 months caregiving experience in a home care setting.
• CNA certification preferred, but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and patient approach.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
• Flexible availability and willingness to pick up shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, and companionship.
• Support mobility and safety, including ambulation assistance, transfers, and activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Provide medication reminders, observe and document health conditions, and promptly report any concerns.
• Create meaningful moments by engaging clients in activities they enjoy—like reading, puzzles, and hobbies tailored to their interests.
