Job summary

St. Croix Hospice is seeking a dedicated Hospice Aide (CNA) to join our interdisciplinary care team.

You will deliver compassionate, hands-on care to patients in their homes under the direction of a Registered Nurse, supporting daily living activities and comfort at the end of life. The role emphasizes 1:1 patient care, safety, and dignity, with a full-time schedule from 8:00am to 5:00pm and rotational weekends.

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification in the state of practice.
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and auto insurance.
• Record vital signs and report observations to the care team.
• Assist with meal planning, preparation, and feeding as needed.
• Promote patient comfort, dignity, and safety.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on personal care and activities of daily living.
• Travel to patient homes throughout the day to deliver care as scheduled.
• Document services provided accurately and timely.
• Collaborate with the care team under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
