Job summary

St. Croix Hospice is seeking a compassionate Hospice Aide (CNA) to join our interdisciplinary care team and provide hands-on in-home care to patients and families in Sedalia, MO. Under the direction of a Registered Nurse, you will support daily living activities to promote comfort and dignity at the end of life.

As a full-time CNA, you will travel to patient homes, document services, and collaborate with the care team to deliver high-quality, person-centered care with empathy and respect.

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification in the state of practice.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to travel to patient homes.
• Experience in elder or end-of-life care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care including bathing, skin/nail care, oral hygiene, and dressing/undressing.
• Assist with meals, hydration, and feeding as needed.
• Record vital signs and report observations to the care team.
• Travel to patient homes to deliver scheduled care.
• Maintain accurate documentation of services provided.
