Job summary

St. Croix Hospice is seeking a Hospice Aide (CNA) to deliver compassionate, hands-on care to patients in their homes. You will work under a Registered Nurse, assisting with personal care and daily living activities to support comfort and quality of life at the end of life.

Ideal candidates are dedicated CNAs who value meaningful 1:1 care and daily impact. Schedule is 8:00am–5:00pm, full-time with rotational weekends, and benefits include health, dental, vision, life, disability, 401(k) match,

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification in the state of practice.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record and auto insurance.
• Provide personal care including bathing, skin/nail care, oral hygiene, dressing/undressing.

Responsibilities

• Record vital signs and report observations to the care team.
• Assist with meal planning, preparation, and feeding as needed.
• Promote patient comfort, dignity, and safety.
• Travel to patient homes throughout the day and provide care as scheduled.
• Maintain accurate documentation of services provided.

As a Hospice Aide (CNA), you’ll be an essential part of our interdisciplinary care team, delivering compassionate, hands‑on care to patients in their homes. Working under the direction of a Registered Nurse, you’ll support patients with personal care and daily living activities, helping ensure comfort, dignity, and the highest possible quality of life at the end of life.
