St. Joseph Hospice in Mobile, AL is hiring a PRN Hospice Aide to provide personal care and homemaking assistance under state and federal guidelines.

You’ll collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, communicate patient needs to supervisors, and support families and staff while delivering compassionate hospice services. Candidates must be 18+, have a HS diploma or GED, CPR certification, and at least 6 months of direct care experience; transportation and license are required.

Qualificações

• Minimum of 18 years old.
• High School diploma or GED completed.
• Completion of a formal certification training program or competency evaluation.
• Minimum of six months’ direct care experience.
• CPR certification required.
• Dependable transportation, valid driver's license and auto insurance.

Responsabilidades

• Provide personal care and homemaking assistance per regulations.
• Work as part of the interdisciplinary team.
• Communicate with supervisor and coworkers about patient needs.
• Foster positive relationships with patients, families and staff.

Job Duties:

• Provide personal care and assistance with homemaking tasks in accordance with state and federal regulations
• Participate as a member of the interdisciplinary team
• Communicate and follow up with supervisor and co-workers regarding patient needs, care, or concerns
• Promote positive relationships with patients, families, and facility staff

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 18 years old
• Completed High School or earned Equivalency Diploma
• Successful completion of a formal certification training program or a written skills test and competency evaluation
• Minimum of six (6) months’ work experience in a direct care setting
• CPR Certified
• Have dependable transportation, current driver’s license and auto insurance
