Job summary

St. Croix Hospice is seeking a compassionate Hospice Aide (CNA) to join our home-based care team.

Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, you will provide personal care, monitor vital signs, assist with daily living activities, and help maintain comfort and dignity for patients at the end of life in their homes. This full-time role requires current CNA certification in your state, a valid driver’s license with a clean record, reliable vehicle, and the ability to travel to patient homes.

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification in the state of practice.
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and auto insurance.
• Record vital signs and report observations to the care team.
• Maintain accurate documentation of services provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care including bathing, skin care, oral hygiene, dressing/undressing.
• Assist with meal planning, preparation, and feeding as needed.
• Promote patient comfort, dignity, and safety.
• Travel to patient homes throughout the day and provide care as scheduled.
