St. Joseph Hospice in Alexandria, LA is hiring a Full-Time Hospice Aide CNA to provide compassionate personal care and support to patients.

You will be part of an interdisciplinary team and collaborate with supervisors to ensure high-quality care. Requirements include 18+ years old, a HS diploma or equivalent, a formal certification program or competency evaluation, 6 months direct care experience, CPR certification, and reliable transportation with a valid license and insurance.

Formación

• Minimum age 18 years.
• Completed High School or equivalent.
• Successful completion of a formal certification training program or competency evaluation.
• Minimum of six months’ work experience in a direct care setting.
• Current CPR certification.
• Have dependable transportation, valid driver’s license and auto insurance.

Responsabilidades

• Provide patients with personal care and homemaking assistance in accordance with state and federal regulations.
• Serve as an active member of the interdisciplinary care team.
• Communicate and follow up with supervisors and coworkers regarding patient needs, care, and concerns.
• Foster positive relationships with patients, families, and facility staff.

Qualifications:
