This position emphasizes patient comfort, family involvement, and adherence to nursing standards. Qualifications include RN licensure, graduation from an accredited nursing program, and current CPR.

Formación

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Earn 5.0 continuing education credits annually.
• 1 year of medical nursing experience with various age groups.

Responsabilidades

• Nurse/Patient Relationship: Identifies the need for various communication styles and seeks assistance in utilizing the most appropriate strategy.
• Assuring/Improving Quality Care: Identifies patient and family concerns and issues; advocates for patient and family.
• Patient/Staff Education: Identifies patient and family learning needs; initiates and evaluates teaching using protocols.
• Nursing Process: Completes assessment, develops and evaluates plan of care, prioritizes and organizes patient care.
• Leadership/Collaboration/Professional Development: Contributes to unit operation and seeks professional growth.
