Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Maintain current RN license and CPR certification.
• One year of medical-surgical nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify communication needs and use appropriate strategies with patients and families.
• Assess and address patient comfort and psychosocial needs per standards.
• Encourage patient/family participation in care and readiness.
• Apply holistic, individualized care and mobilize resources.
• Complete assessments, plan, implement, and evaluate care; ensure follow-through.
