Job summary

RON SUNSHINE ASSOCIATES LLC in the Kansas City Metro, MO (east) is seeking a full-time Hospice Admissions RN to coordinate new patient admissions and complete comprehensive assessments. You will educate patients and families, and partner with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure a smooth transition into hospice services.

The role serves a 50-mile radius from the office, with a Tue-Sat schedule from 10am to 7pm, supporting seamless communication and high-quality patient care in a dynamic

Qualifications

• Active Missouri RN license in good standing.
• Current driver's license.
• CPR certification.
• 2 years RN clinical experience.
• 1 year hospice experience.
• Reliable transportation with auto liability insurance.
• Ability to work independently and make sound clinical decisions.
• Strong written, verbal, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee all aspects of new patient admissions.
• Collaborate with patient care teams to support seamless communication and continuity of care.
• Educate patients and families regarding condition, needs, and care.
• Perform head-to-toe physical assessments.
• Complete all required documentation accurately and on time.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Territory / Work Schedule: 50-mile radius from the office, schedule Tuesday-Saturday 10am-7pm

Outstanding hospice provider seeks a full-time Admissions RN. This nurse will coordinate new patient admissions, complete comprehensive assessments, educate patients and families, and partner closely with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure a smooth transition into hospice services.

Required Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license valid for practice in Missouri
• Current driver's license
• Current CPR certification
• Two years of Registered Nurse experience in a clinical care setting
• One year of full-time hospice experience
• Reliable transportation and valid automobile liability insurance
• Ability to work independently and make sound clinical decisions
• Strong written, verbal, organizational, and interpersonal skills

Key Responsibilities
