Job summary

Markent Personnel, Inc. is seeking a Hospice Admissions RN for the Kansas City Metro, MO east area.

This full-time role coordinates new patient admissions, conducts comprehensive assessments, and educates patients and families, partnering with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure a smooth transition into hospice services. The ideal candidate holds MO RN licensure, CPR, a current driver's license, and hospice experience; applicants need strong clinical judgment, independence, and

Qualifications

• Active MO RN license in good standing.
• Current driver's license and CPR certification.
• Minimum two years RN experience in a clinical setting.
• At least one year of full-time hospice experience.
• Ability to work independently with sound clinical judgment.
• Strong written and verbal communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee all aspects of new patient admissions.
• Collaborate with patient care teams to ensure continuity of care.
• Educate patients and families about condition, needs, and care.
• Perform head-to-toe physical assessments.
• Complete all required documentation accurately and on time.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Hospice Admissions RN

Kansas City Metro, MO (east) | Full-Time

Territory / Work Schedule: 50-mile radius from the office, schedule Tuesday-Saturday 10am-7pm

Outstanding hospice provider seeks a full-time Admissions RN. This nurse will coordinate new patient admissions, complete comprehensive assessments, educate patients and families, and partner closely with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure a smooth transition into hospice services.

Required Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license valid for practice in Missouri
• Current driver's license
• Current CPR certification
• Two years of Registered Nurse experience in a clinical care setting
• One year of full-time hospice experience
• Reliable transportation and valid automobile liability insurance
• Ability to work independently and make sound clinical decisions
• Strong written, verbal, organizational, and interpersonal skills

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee all aspects of new patient admissions
