Job summary

The Evans Network of Companies is seeking a Customer Service Coordinator (HOS Coordinator) to help keep drivers compliant with FMCSA HOS rules. You will assist drivers, explain ELD usage, review logs for violations, and monitor records for accuracy in a collaborative, on-site environment.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of customer service experience.
• Basic computer skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Must have good time-management and organization skills and be able to multitask when necessary.
• Dependable and consistently available to work scheduled hours.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to incoming calls and emails from drivers, assisting with questions related to hours of service (HOS).
• Provide clear instructions to drivers on how to use their electronic logging devices (ELDs) effectively.
• Review driver logs for HOS violations and offer counseling to drivers as needed.
• Continuously monitor driver logs to identify and correct errors.
• Perform data entry of HOS-related files and information for accurate tracking and recordkeeping.
• Regularly review reports to ensure driver compliance with HOS-related systems, programs, and services.
• Conduct random audits of driver logs to maintain high standards of compliance.
• Provide counseling to drivers for serious infractions and elevate issues when necessary.
• Ensure accuracy of all recordkeeping and file retention practices.
• Inventory management of ELD equipment; shipping/receiving and troubleshooting support to ensure proper use.
