Job summary

Western Express is seeking a detail-oriented professional to audit driver logs for Hours of Service compliance and review conveyance usage. The role involves monitoring daily reports, coaching drivers on HOS best practices, and maintaining an organized, independent workflow. It is an extended coverage position with a 5pm–6am schedule, four days on, three days off.

Strong MS Office proficiency and clear communication are essential for success in our fast-paced trucking environment in Nashville.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a team in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Audit driver logs to identify Hours of Service (HOS) violations.
• Review Personal Conveyance usage.
• Monitor daily compliance reports, including unassigned driving time, Personal Conveyance usage, and odometer discrepancies.
• Coach drivers on HOS requirements and industry best practices to ensure ongoing compliance.
• Maintain an organized work environment and demonstrate the ability to work independently.
• This is an extended coverage position, 4 days on 3 days off from 5pm to 6am.
