Job summary

DFI is seeking a seasoned Horticulture/Landscape Manager to lead and coordinate all landscape operations at multiple Austin properties. This role focuses on plant health, irrigation, seasonal maintenance, and aesthetic improvements while guiding the horticulture team and coordinating with vendors and contractors.

Qualifications

• 5+ years landscaping, horticulture, or nursery management experience.
• Strong knowledge of turf care, plant health, pruning and fertilization.
• Proven leadership of a horticulture team and vendors.
• Ability to plan daily/yearly goals and manage budgets.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Hands-on approach with comfort in the field.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate horticulture, landscape maintenance, and grounds management.
• Oversee plant health, irrigation, seasonal maintenance, and improvements.
• Guide the horticulture team and collaborate with staff, vendors, and contractors.
• Plan, coordinate, and oversee contracted landscape services across properties.
• Develop and monitor the horticulture budget with leadership.
• Identify opportunities to improve practices, irrigation efficiency, and sustainability.
• Ensure safety compliance with OSHA and company policies.
