Job summary

Mount Hermon Association Incorporated is seeking a Wrangler to support horsemanship at Kidder Creek Ranch Camp. You will help care for horses, guide campers, and uphold safety while sharing and modeling the gospel in a dynamic outdoor setting.

The role requires a mature, ministry‑minded individual with horse experience, CPR/First Aid certification, a current driver’s license, and the ability to engage students from elementary to high school in a faith‑filled camp environment.

Qualifications

• Must be CPR/First Aid certified prior to arriving at camp.
• High school diploma required; 1 year college preferred.
• Ability to articulate the gospel and demonstrate faith in Christ.
• Experience with elementary to high school students and horses.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and well‑being of campers and staff in horsemanship activities.
• Care and maintenance of horses and equipment; keep logs as needed.
• Assist campers with horse care and equipment handling.
• Report hazards promptly to Wrangler Lead and support riders.
• Lead and assist campers in horsemanship areas as directed.
• Attend Ranch Camp fires and staff meetings; contribute enthusiastically.
• Promote a positive staff community; be punctual and prepared.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.
