Mount Hermon Association Incorporated in Etna, CA seeks a Wrangler Lead to supervise wranglers and coordinate with the Ranch Camp Manager for horsemanship activities at Kidder Creek Ranch Camp. The role centers on modeling a Christian lifestyle, safety, and effective leadership of the horsemanship program.

The Wrangler Lead will oversee horse care, maintain logs, mentor campers, and collaborate with camp staff to ensure a joyful, safe, and educational experience in alignment with MHA’s mission

Qualifications

• Ability to articulate the gospel of Jesus Christ as communicated in Scripture.
• Demonstrated leadership with a positive role model and enthusiastic guidance.
• Willingness to learn, teach, and adapt to camp programs and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Model a genuine lifestyle of Christian discipleship and lead wranglers.
• Ensure safety and well-being of campers and staff in horsemanship programs.
• Care for horses and equipment and keep logs as necessary.
• Lead and assist campers in horsemanship activities as directed.
• Maintain cleanliness of horse areas and working spaces.
• Attend staff meetings and contribute to camp-wide activities.
• Report hazards promptly and assist RC Manager as needed.
