DC Army National Guard is seeking a Horizontal Construction Engineer to operate bulldozers, roadgraders, and other heavy equipment to clear sites for roads, airfields, and buildings.

You will level earth, excavate, and move materials as part of combat engineer missions, with classroom and field training during Basic and Advanced Individual Training.

Training provides paid instruction, tuition assistance, and benefits, with pathways to civilian construction careers.

Qualifications

• Military enlistment in the Army National Guard.
• High school diploma or GED; or currently a junior in high school.
• Ages 17–35.
• Must pass a physical exam and meet legal and moral standards.

• Cut and spread fill material with scraper.
