Job summary

DC Army National Guard seeks a Horizontal Construction Engineer to clear sites for roads, airfields, and buildings. You will operate bulldozers, roadgraders, and other heavy equipment to prepare construction zones and support combat engineer missions.

Responsibilities include leveling earth, excavating, and moving heavy materials, with training lasting nine weeks of Basic Training plus nine weeks Advanced Individual Training. A monthly paycheck and various educational benefits accompany service.

Qualifications

• Must be physically fit and able to work outdoors.
• Must be willing to undergo military enlistment and training.
• Ability to operate heavy construction equipment and follow safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Level earth for runways and roadbeds.
