Job summary

DC Army National Guard seeks Horizontal Construction Engineers to operate bulldozers, roadgraders and other heavy equipment, clearing sites for road, airfield and building projects. You will level earth for runways, clear, excavate and move materials and support combat engineer missions while pursuing civilian construction opportunities.

You will train for nine weeks of Basic Training and nine weeks of Advanced Individual Training, earning while you learn and qualifying for tuition assistance,

Qualifications

• Must be enlisted in the Army National Guard.
• Must be between 17 and 35 years old.
• High school diploma or GED required for eligibility.

• Analyze the information on grade stakes and placing them.
• Cut and spread fill material with scraper.
