DC Army National Guard seeks a Horizontal Construction Engineer to operate bulldozers, roadgraders, and other heavy equipment to clear sites for construction. You will level earth for runways and roadbeds, and assist in various combat engineer missions.

You will receive paid training and learn safety, maintenance, and earthwork practices while serving part-time and earning a regular paycheck as part of the Army National Guard.

Qualifications

• Experience operating heavy construction equipment.
• Knowledge of grade stake placement and earthwork.
• Willingness to work outdoors in varied conditions.

• Analyze grade stakes information and place stakes.
• Cut and spread fill material with scraper.
