Job summary

DC Army National Guard is seeking Horizontal Construction Engineers to clear sites for road, airfield, or building projects. You will operate bulldozers, roadgraders and other heavy equipment to prepare runways and roadbeds.

Through nine weeks of Basic Training and nine weeks of Advanced Individual Training, you’ll earn while you learn. Paid training, tuition assistance, and retirement benefits are available.

Qualifications

• Experience operating heavy construction equipment.
• Knowledge of soil types and grade-stake placement.
• Willingness to train and obtain civilian certifications.
