Job summary

Allied Universal in Honolulu, HI is seeking a Part-Time Unarmed Security Officer to monitor campus areas, provide customer service, deter incidents, and respond to security concerns. You will patrol and maintain a visible presence, ensure safety for students, staff, and visitors, and support a welcoming environment.

Flexible schedule on Saturdays and Sundays with shifts 12:00 AM–08:00 AM, pay $22.00 per hour, and opportunities for growth within a collaborative, people-first culture.

Qualifications

• State, county, or city issued security-related license preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check required by law; drug screen as a condition of employment.
• Licensing requirements subject to state/local laws; valid driver's license only for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and campus partners by carrying out security procedures and campus policies.
• Respond to incidents and campus concerns calmly and follow reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of campus buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity or maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Direct visitors and support a welcoming environment at an educational location.
