Norm Reeves Honda in Huntington Beach, CA is seeking an Automotive Finance Assistant to support the finance team and ensure accurate, timely processing of deals. This on-site role emphasizes organization, follow-up, and strong communication to provide a superior guest experience.

You will assist the Finance Managers, manage document flow to the business office, review deals for accuracy, and prepare files for DMV and lending institutions. A proactive, detail-oriented mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Experience in an administrative role.
• Previous automotive experience is a plus.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook.
• Excellent organizational and follow up skills.
• Professional written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and work in team-based and independent settings.

Responsibilities

• Assist Finance Managers and the business office in ensuring prompt processing of all deals.
• Ensuring the correct flow of documents from the Finance department to the business office.
• Check and review all incoming deals from Finance for accuracy and document completion.
• Process prior day deals and report development to management.
• Package documents for DMV and finance institutions.
• Process all vehicle sales documentation – contracts, incentives, etc.
• Fax, email, and mail documents as needed for funding and record retention.
• Performs general office duties such as reports, keeping filing up-to-date, scanning, photocopying and faxing vehicle documents as needed.
• Answer customers questions regarding the sales transaction.
• Achieve or exceed group standards such as sales production, gross profit and applicable benchmarks which result in profitability and customer service satisfaction.
• Effectively communicate with Sales Managers and Sales Personnel to strengthen processes.
• Any additional responsibilities requested by the Finance Director.

Location: Huntington Beach, CA (On site) | Type: Full Time | Hourly Range: $22-$25 an hour | Schedule: Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm

As an Automotive Finance Assistant, you’re one of the most important team members at Norm Reeves Honda in Huntington Beach. You’re responsible for creating a super experience for our guests by using your exceptionally strong organizational and time management skills.
