Responsibilities

• Serve as the first contact for homeowners reporting losses.
• Gather and document loss information; enter details into claim systems.
• Make initial routing and escalation decisions by claim severity.
• Coordinate emergency service, mitigation, inspection, and restoration vendors.
• Investigate and adjust low-severity homeowners claims under guidance.
• Conduct basic coverage reviews and damage assessments.
• Prepare repair estimates and explain outcomes to customers.
• Develop negotiation skills through interactions with partners.
• Learn construction methods and estimating fundamentals.
• Maintain proactive communication with policyholders and vendors.
